- MDF (Medium-Density Fibreboard): MDF is a wood-based product made by compressing wood fibers with resin adhesives using special heated presses. It is denser and more durable than chipboard and does not absorb moisture.
- Melamine (LPB - Low Pressure Melamine): LPB melamine is a synthetic material widely used for surface treatment of chipboard in furniture and surface manufacturing due to its durability and ease of maintenance. It is applied to substrates like MDF or OSB plywood to create tough, long-lasting surfaces.
Care Instructions:
- MDF: Use a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and dirt. For stains, use a soft cloth with lukewarm water and mild soap. Gently wipe the surface until the stain is removed. Dry thoroughly with a clean cloth afterward. MDF is sensitive to moisture, so it’s important to protect it from water exposure. Wipe any spills immediately. Avoid harsh cleaners or chemicals that may damage the surface.
- Melamine (LPB): For surface stains, use a soft cloth with lukewarm water and mild soap. Gently wipe until clean. Since melamine is sensitive to moisture, it should be protected from water exposure.
