- MDF (Medium-density fibreboard): MDF is a wood derivative. It's produced by using resins (glues) to bond wood fibers, which are then compressed with special heated presses. It's denser than chipboard and resistant to wear. Moreover, it doesn't absorb moisture.
- Melamine (LPB): LPB (Low Pressure Melamine) melamine is a synthetic material widely used in surface treatment of chipboard in furniture and surfaces manufacturing, prized for its durability and easy maintenance. It is applied to substrates like MDF to produce resilient surfaces.
- MDF: To clean, use a soft dry cloth to remove dust and dirt. For stains, use a soft cloth with lukewarm water and mild soap. Gently wipe the surface until the stains are removed. Finally, wipe the surface well with a dry cloth. MDF is sensitive to moisture, so it's important to protect it from moisture. Wipe off any spills immediately. Avoid using strong cleaners or chemicals, as they may damage the MDF.
